Endless Thanks

It's the last day in IS101 class. I wish everyone good luck and let us all give our best tonight. Mr. Wu, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you really for everything you've done for me and for everything that you made me do. You are one of a kind. You are a perfectionist and yet considerate..sounds contradictory but it's true. I perfectly understand that you want the best for us in this class and that you believe in our capabilities. I will remember your line "It is achievable."

As I look back at my very first day in IS101 clsss, I can vividly recall and see myself as a scared and confused student trying to figure out what to do with A1 IS101 Setup. After eight weeks in this class with you and with my classmates, not anymore. Now, I have confidence to do things I have no knowledge about. Like in the real world, not everything comes in the way we want them to be but with will and determination and faith in Almighty God everything is surpassable. It's just how we look at things....again, my endless thanks to you Mr. Wu and to all my classmates who in one way or another had inspired me.

Final Day

We just had our quiz  5 tonight and Professor Wu showed us the correct way of doing A7 Mail Merge and BA8 Workbook Analysis. It will be our last meeting in this class this coming Thursday. I wish everyone gets the grade they are hoping for. Till next meeting...still have to study for quiz 6 and comply with Part 2 of A3 Cover Letter and Resume Writing.

Almost Over

I was working on my A7 Mail Merge assignment this morning at the computer lab Henderson Campus when Mr. Albert Wu and Qutina  joined me and later on, by Lorrie. It was indeed a blessing for me for I was able to wrap up my Homepage, with Professor Albert's help. This gave me a sigh of relief. Later on, I will be paying attention to the study guide for quiz 5 and BA8 Workbook Analysis. IS 101 class is almost over....good luck everyone.

Hard Work

I am looking at the syllabus and it looks like we have two more quizzes by next week. We haven't had a quiz for few weeks. I guess we have to study harder until the end of our summer class. I am pretty sure all our hard work will be rewarded. ..wishful thinking :-)

Final Two Weeks

I am just so thankful I was able to finish Excel C and D (textbook) and Excel Independent Challenge C and D through SAM today. Tomorrow, I will be working on Assignment 6 and Excel Final Capstone 1. Hopefully, I can finish both. I know all my classmates are working so hard as well. I am so relieved my other class, Political Science 101, is over. We have two more final weeks in IS 101. But until then, everybody is busy and working double-time or even more to finish everything. IS 101 accelerated summer session is really a challenge...no regrets, I am learning a lot.

Have a blessed and meaningful weekend everyone. I'll see you all this Tuesday.

Slideshow Presentation

Tonight in class, I'm going to have my Slideshow presentation. I am a bit nervous but I guess I will do alright. I just need to practice, practice and practice. I have two more hours before I take the center stage. To all presenters, I will pray for the success of our presentation. I just did Sam Excel Challenge A and thank God I got a 100% the first time. I will be doing Sam Excel Challenge B tonight after my presentation.

Family Day

It is the 4th of July weekend but I need to finish my Access Capstones A and B, so I guess I'll be spending the day at the computer lab. I felt relieved yesterday after doing my Slideshow assignment.

Also, today is our family day at church until tomorrow in which I get to celebrate with my family and brothers and sisters in Christ the goodness of life. There will be two days of fun and bonding. The kids, as well as the adults, have a swimming pool for themselves and the men are in-charged with barbecuing. The women, including myself, are assigned to do the marketing and to take care of the kitchen. My "shift" doesn't start until tonight. Most importantly, we get to do some team building activities to reinforce unity among ourselves with Christ being the Leader of the Church.

But for now, I need to get going, have my breakfast and off to CSN Henderson Campus for my IS 101 works. See you all this Tuesday and have a safe and meaningful weekend.
